We have an opening for Night Shift Facilities General Maintenance Worker.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
The General Maintenance Worker performs a variety of tasks involving the general maintenance and repair of buildings, premises, and varied equipment, and to perform other duties. May be required to perform lock repairs, woodworking tasks, electrical, painting, heating, and ventilating services and any other normal routine maintenance duties associated with operation of the buildings and equipment.
Applies technical knowledge required to troubleshoot, repair, install, disassemble or overhaul a variety of complex equipment. The skill level for this position requires an individual to work independently and collaboratively on equipment and systems with minimal instruction and direction.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
· Troubleshoots, repairs, installs, disassembles, overhauls and replaces machinery and equipment based on work order request
or verbal instructions.
Other Duties
· Operates lifts, booms, tractors and own or company vehicle in performance of some job tasks.
· Participates in training, employee meetings, committees, project teams, etc. as needed
· Receives written and verbal instructions on the above job tasks and performs other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Hand tools, air and electrical tools (including grinders, drills, sanders, impact wrench, metal lathe, metal band saw, milling machine, punch and ironworker, arc welder, plasma torch, oxyacetylene torch, TIG/stick welder, plastic welder), metal bender, aerial lift, forklift, truck, square, dividers, ruler, PC, multi-meter, copier, FAX, telephone, two-way radio
Work Environment
Works inside and outside; subject to wide seasonal temperature variations and intermittent wetting from rain and some job tasks. Fumes from syrup ingredients, pickles, pepper, forklifts, industrial waste water. Contact with dust, grease, chain lube and ingredients. Distracting noise in some areas. Protective equipment such as hardhat, ear protection, safety glasses, welding helmet, safety belts and gloves required based on work site and job task. Steel toed footwear required at all times.
