Duties may include any or all of the following. The Political Science adjunct will teach American Government at the satellite campuses as needed. The instructor will be responsible for classroom management, grading assessments, reporting student attendance, managing the LMS for the class, adhering to guidelines set forth by CHE in order to maintain compliance with the REACH Act, among other duties.The Political Science instructor is the leader of the learning process in each class he/she teaches. The learning process requires knowledge of subject matter, skill in communication, sensitivity to varied students, and effective evaluation techniques. The minimum obligation to the College for an adjunct faculty member is that he/she fulfills the hourly requirements specified on the contract issued for the term.
