The Work You Will Do:
The Information Technology Analyst is a member of the Reemployment Assistance Application Development team of the Division of Information Technology located in Tallahassee, Florida.

Pay:
* $45,000 - $55,000
Your Specific Responsibilities:
* Log, track and test defects using the tools.
* Create and maintain manual and automated test scripts.
* Use tools required in testing and tracking change requests.
* Performs various types of automated and manual testing
* Understand the impacts of batch processes, interfaces and cross functional work stream dependencies.
* Understand the dataflow, data model and data dictionary associated with the application.
* Works with the development leads, business analysts, and business subject matter experts to ensure full coverage in the testing scripts.
* Documents the operational assurance, defect, and change request test scripts and testing outcomes.
* Assists with review/analysis of regression test steps/scripts that are required for test automation.
* Program/code automated regression test steps/scripts for upload and execution in the appropriate test management tools.
* Performs automated Smoke/regression testing to support release implementation.
* Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to simplify complex concepts, processes and workflows, into simple, understandable documents (written or graphical).
* Ability to communicate technical information.
* Knowledge of best testing practices.
* General Understanding of database structure concepts and familiarity with data queries using SQL.
* Ability to think through problems and solving them through using problem solving best practices.
* Knowledgeable in Application Development Methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, and Iterative Application Testing methodologies.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint).
* Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 or later.
* Knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS).
* Knowledge of HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM).
* Knowledge of HP Unified Functional Testing (UFT.)
* Knowledge of SQL Developer.
Qualifications:
As a condition of pre-employment eligibility, a Level 2 security background screening is required, which consists of fingerprinting and a check of local, state, and national law enforcement records.
Minimum:
* Must be available for on-call and overtime as required.
Preferred:
* Bachelor's degree or at least four (4) years of professional Information Technology experience
* At least two (2) years of automated, unit, regression, or performance testing experience
* VB or C# skills
* SQL querying ability
