- License and current registration as a Registered Nurse by the New York State Department of Education.
- Minimum of one year previous salaried nursing experience.
- Previous experience with the Developmentally Disabled preferred.
In addition, all nursing positions must meet the following minimum requirements
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must have reliable transportation and a clean, valid NYS driver's license.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours.
- Must be proficient in agency computer software..
- Must have ability to bend, twist, kneel, climb stairs/ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Job SummaryThe ARC Program Nurse is under the supervision of the Nurse Director or designee. The medical well being of all agency program participants will be the nurse's primary responsibility with particular attention to the medical well being of that particular program's service recipients.
