POSITION TITLE: A-Level TechnicianREPORTS TO: Service ManagerDEPARTMENT: ServicePOSITION SUMMARY: Assists in directing junior technicians and functions as a skilled-level technician who is able to inspect, diagnose and perform basic automotive repairs and preventive services. Salary $80,000 to $100,000 - No nights or weekendsEssential Job Functions:
- Provides helpful, friendly and respectful customer service with a We Can Do That
- attitude.
- Inspects, diagnoses, and repairs basic systems including brakes, alignments, suspension,
- an cooling systems.
- Leads and mentors junior technicians to assist in their growth and development.
- Changes oil and/or transmission fluid and filters.
- Install and perform tire maintenance.
- Road test vehicles.
- Helps increase sales, improve store profitability and reduces controllable expenses.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Secondary Job Functions:
- Cross train in other areas as needed.
- Other duties as assigned
RequirementsPosition Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License.
- ASE Certifications and/or a technical school degree are preferred but not required.
- Previous experience in an automotive service facility preferred.
- Should possess tools necessary to perform routine maintenance and repairs
