Sun River Health is a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in Suffolk, Rockland, Orange, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, Columbia and Westchester County. Sun River Health is currently seeking a full time Psychotherapist to support our A31 site in Inwood, Bronx, NY*POSITION SUMMARY*The Psychotherapist provides specialized knowledge and skills for psychiatric and mental health evaluation, assessment and management of clients. Strong therapy skills are essential. The position reports to the Program Director.*Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Psychotherapist (LMSW, LMHC or LCSW):** Provide culturally sensitive direct, clinical services, which may include but are not limited to: assessment and treatment planning, individual, family and group psychotherapy, crisis counseling, and community consultation and education.* Document client progress to maintain a permanent record of client activity according to established methods and procedures.* Meet monthly target. Contingent on how many hours clinician works for the week.* Progress notes due within 72 hours of services; preferably within the same day of service.* Identify case management needs of clients and coordinate with other agency staff and community agencies to have these needs met.* Perform crisis intervention as necessary.* Coordinate treatment with other community agencies and services.* Participate in program development and in training programs.* Follow the established clinic policies & procedures.* Maintain appropriate professional standards.*Minimum Education Requirement: ** Master's Degree (MSW or MHC)*Minimum Work-Related Experience:** 2 years' experience in the psychiatric mental health care of persons with HIV/AIDS*Specialized Skills & Knowledge:** Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)*Job Type:* Full-Time and Part-Time*Salary Range: *$69,000 - $100,000 _per year, based on licensure and experience (will be prorated for part-time positions) __The above is intended to describe the essential job functions, the general supplemental functions and the essential requirements for the performance of the job.
