NEEDS Center's mission is to provide education, training, and support to individuals with developmental disabilities to assist them to live as independently as possible.Working under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, provide direct 1:1 ABA services to students in their home as well as in the community.Positions are primarily located in Cambridge, Somerville, Peabody and Chelmsford.Implement student programs and behavior management procedures according to the students management guidelines, IEP and behavior intervention plan.Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and experience implementing ABA techniques is required.These positions are per diem and are most often scheduled Mon-Fri from 4pm-6pm.Experience working with children with autism required.Bachelor's degree preferred. Must have reliable transportation to reach residential settings not supported by public transportation.The NEEDS Center specializes in providing services and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). There is a particular emphasis on providing services to individuals with interfering challenging behavior and/or dual diagnosis. The NEEDS Center's philosophy is rooted in the tenets of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Positive Behavior Support (PSB). The services and supports provided by the NEEDS Center draw on the best of both disciplines in order to assist individuals to become as independent as they can be.Job Type: Part-time/Per DiemSalary: $25.00 an hour for PT/Per Diem shifts*** Full-time positions can also be offered with the addition of hours working with the adult population in day program settings.***#NEEDS
