What You'll Do as a Registered ABA Behavior Technician:
- As a registered behavior technician you will work directly with children with special needs (e.g., Autism Spectrum Disorder) in our ABA Clinic. Behavior Technicians will utilize ABA strategies/techniques to reduce challenging behaviors and teach replacement behaviors and other skills (e.g., communication, socialization)
- Registered behavior technicians will be given high quality training, emphasizing hands-on learning.
- Registered behavior technicians will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and receive ongoing training/feedback
- Registered behavior technicians will also record data in multiple forms to determine the effectiveness of a treatment plan for assigned clients
- Other administrative tasks will be assigned as needed (e.g., creating stimuli for clients)
What You'll Need as a ABA Behavior Technician:
- Must have a Registered Behavior Technician license
- Must be willing to do in-home services
- Minimum high school degree or equivalent, college preferred
- Must pass background check
- Reliable car, proof of auto insurance and valid driver's license required
- TB test required
- Bachelor's or enrollment in a B.A. or B.S program preferred
- ABA experience preferred
