Job description```Job Overview```We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate ABA Therapist to join our team. As an ABA Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities. Your primary responsibility will be to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data to monitor progress.```Duties```- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)- Collect and analyze data on client progress and behavior- Assist with the development of treatment goals and strategies- Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients- Teach and reinforce appropriate behaviors using evidence-based techniques- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals involved in the client's care- Document client progress and maintain accurate medical documentation- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information```Skills```To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:- Strong data collection skills to accurately track client progress- Knowledge of medical terminology related to developmental disabilities- Experience working with children with developmental disabilities- Familiarity with medical documentation practices- Understanding of behavioral health principles and techniques- Knowledge of activities of daily living (ADLs) and their impact on individuals with developmental disabilities- Familiarity with special education practices and strategies- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals of all ages and backgrounds- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help othersIf you are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position.RequirementsRequirements
