Brief Summary of Primary Duties:
* Communicate and administer Prysmian Group policies and procedures
* Participate in CI improvements using lean manufacturing skills
* Ensure a safe work environment at all times
* Lead Tier meetings with employees
* Troubleshoot process and equipment issues
* Coordinate between different groups such as logistics and maintenance
* Resolve conflicts on the shop floor
* Perform necessary clerical activities such as time or record keeping
* Drive quality and cost saving initiatives
* Guide, mentor, and lead shop floor associates
Expectations:
* Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
* SAP knowledge preferred
* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to use written work instructions to complete task
* Ability to use measuring equipment -including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,
* Forklift Certification training is required
* First Responders Training
Specific Skills/Training Required
* Computer skills & ability that allow them to enter data, use email, and basic office programs
* Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently
* Ability to use written work instructions to complete task
* Ability to use measuring equipment -including but not limited to OD tapes, calibers, micrometers,
* Hazardous Waste Training
* First Responders Training
Education:
* High School/GED Diploma - required
* Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience:
* Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required
Safety Requirements/Physical Requirements:
* Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas
* Hearing Protection required in posted areas
* Ability to stand 8-12 hours on concrete floors
