I) Job Purpose

Under the direction of the Continuity of Care Department, this position provides operational, administrative, and technical support to the Law Liaison and Assisted Outpatient Treatment programs. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: administrative assistance to staff and managers; filing of client records, distributing and mailing out letters and program correspondence, completing environmental and infection control reports, serving as a member of the Safety Response Team (SRT) and completing special reports and assignments. This position may have secondary duties of ordering and purchasing office supplies and equipment, overseeing special financial resources such as petty cash and bus passes, and overseeing the program vehicle fleet and maintenance schedule.

Essential Functions

  • Provides administrative and business support services to the Law Liaison and Assisted Outpatient Treatment programs.
  • Provides office management functions for Law Liaison and Assisted Outpatient Treatment programs.
  • Develops, supports, and performs duties for client record management.
  • Serves as a Safety Response Team (SRT) member and assists with Environmental Safety and Infection Control support.
  • Oversees the vehicle fleet at 1200 Circle Drive Suite 400.
  • Performs other job duties or responsibilities as requested or assigned.

  • This position may require temporarily or permanently re-assigning to any of the MHMR clinics or administrative offices as determined by program needs.
  • Local travel will be required between MHMRTC facilities, bank, and post office as needed.
  • This position may require travel to other locations as determined by the Supervisor(s).

    Required LicenseValid Texas driver's license with an acceptable driving record

    Testing RequirementsPre-employment tests including drug and TB Screening, Physical Exam including balance and lift test.

    Additional RequirementsAll staff are required to participate in agency Emergency Preparedness and Environmental Safety programs and may be assigned by their departments as a key/essential staff level function during critical events or for the purpose of sustaining business continuity.

    This position may require temporary or permanent re-assignment to any MHMR Tarrant facility as determined by program needs and/or the Division/Director.

    Assigned work hours may change as the needs of the agency change.

    All work will be completed within the scheduled work hours. All non-exempt (hourly) employees are expected to clock in and out for each work shift; no work should be done off the clock.

    Prior approval from the supervisor is required for all Paid Time Off (PTO) and Overtime.
