Our work depends on ABMS Systems Applications Administrator SME joining our team to support the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) next generation command and control (C2) system. HOW A ABMS SYSTEMS APPLICATIONS ADMINISTRATOR SME WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running on one or more operating systems
• Manages the organization's computer systems' workflows and is responsible for the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including fixing network issues along with updating equipment and software
• Provides technical support in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures
• Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
• Trains end users on the proper use of hardware and software
• Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
• Monitors and tunes systems to achieve optimum performance levels
• Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
• Evaluates existing systems and assists with planning long-term strategies

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:Education: B.S. in Network Administration, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or other IT related discipline. Additional years of related experience may be substituted for a 4-year degree.Required Experience: 8+ years of related experience.Required Technical Skills: Experience with Windows Server and Workstation administration, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange / Outlook / Office / O365, comfortable working in a multi-vendor network with a large array of COTS applications, experience maintaining file / print / application serversSecurity Clearance Level: Top Secret with SCI eligibilityRequired Skills and Abilities: Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II accessLocation: Hampton, VirginiaGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:

The likely salary range for this position is $104,780 - $141,762. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
