Position Summary
?The Academic Affairs Administrator will manage department-wide reporting, accreditation projects, and curriculum initiatives while serving as a liaison between the department, school, university, and external agencies. Key duties include producing content for assessments, surveys, and accreditation reports, managing curriculum updates and website content, and overseeing student recruitment, admissions, and communications. The role involves assessing course trends, supporting the development of new courses. Advise Arts Professions Minors on policies and procedures students, and cultivate internship opportunities. Additionally, this position will collaborate with faculty and staff on various projects and initiatives to enhance the student and faculty experience.
Qualifications
Required Education:Bachelor's DegreePreferred Education:Master's Degree in arts, education, or other related area.Required Experience:3+ years must include relevant experience in communications, planning and implementing services and projects.Preferred Experience:Higher education experience in student services and/or accreditation and reporting.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organization, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and also as team member.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of Google Workplace and database software.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $82,500.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
