Holston Valley Medical Center is a level-3 trauma center with an open ICU . ETSU Health hospitalists observe a traditional 7-on-7-off schedule.Key responsibilities of an outpatient internal medicine physician include:
- Diagnosing, treating, and managing hospitalized patients
- Mentoring and teaching medical students and residents while on their inpatient rotations
- Conducting lectures, case discussions, and hands-on clinical training for trainees.
- Contributing to the advancement of knowledge in the field of internal medicine.
