Avera is currently seeking a highly motivated Access Services Supervisor!

Job Summary

Responsible for guiding and supervising all aspects of the patient intake process including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, and managing the insurance verification and authorization processes. The Access Supervisor focuses on the work of the department, quality monitoring, teaching and serving as an ongoing resource. Works with the Avera@Home Access Services Manager to validate accuracy of employees' performance and to assist in the overall management of the department.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

* Bachelor's in Business, Health Information Management, or related field preferred.

* 1-3 years of experience in patient access and front-end revenue cycle coordination preferred.

* 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience preferred.

* 1-3 years of experience creating and implementing new processes.

Work Schedule

* 8:30am-5:00pm, e/6th wknd on call, rotating hol; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

* $21.75 - $28.00 per hour
