Our client is an industry leading accessories company.
Accessories Designer Responsibilities:
- Working collaboratively with designers to develop innovative and trend-setting accessory designs for women, teens, tweens and young adults.
- Communicating with overseas development office and production teams.
- Using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to execute designs.
- Participating in and keeping up to date with market & trend research and brainstorming for new product concepts.
- Developing cads, tech packs, line sheets & color stories for products in our various seasons.
- Developing new and exciting pattern designs and colorways.
- Creating detailed technical drawings, specifications and prototypes to guide the production process.
- Conduct regular quality control checks on samples and finished products to ensure they meet design specifications.
Accessories Designer Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in design or related field.
- Must have experience in designing accessories for young girls
- Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop & Illustrator
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Graphic design experience
- Knowledge of materials, textiles and manufacturing processes.
