JOB ROLE:
Role Overview:
Prospecting and selling contract, contract-to-hire & full-time IT staffing services to public sector and private corporations in the SF Bay area.
Responsibilities:
Opportunity:
- Prospect and schedule client first meetings.
- Use a variety of methods (cold call, social media, direct email) to develop relationships and open new accounts.
- Negotiate contracts to establish positive gross margin and profit expectations.
- Identify proper stakeholders, build, and then expand those relationships with clients.
- Ability to facilitate the buyers' journey that leads them to make the best decision for both the client and DPP Tech.
Relationship Building:
- Quickly set interviews with consultant and client once a candidate is presented.
- Sit in on consultant interviews with a client where appropriate.
- Visit consultant when visiting client.
- Establish rapport with consultants on assignment.
- Attend and actively participate in consultant outings and events.
- Cultivate meaningful client relationships by engaging in a range of social settings, from professional networking events to informal dining experiences.
Skills and Abilities:
- Build consultative relationships, thrive in a team environment, and have effective networking skills.
- Gain commitments (close); resolve client concerns (objections); create opportunities (prospect); build consensus and win deals (negotiate).
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree with sales experience (IT sales preferred).
- Experience selling IT Solutions, Professional Services, or Staff Augmentation.
