POSITION SUMMARY

IW Group is searching for an Account Coordinator who is a strong writer, and a hyper-organized go-getter to join our team. We are seeking someone passionate about uplifting multicultural, multigenerational communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in accounting and administrative tasks, including research, billing, activity reports, timesheets, and vendor negotiation.
  • Assist with various projects, staying organized and on top of multiple deliverables and tasks at once, and providing support to the internal client team as needed.
  • Compile monthly activity summaries for clients.
  • Write media relations materials, pitches, press releases, and more.
  • Conduct routine media relations activities, including but not limited to research, development, and updating media lists, monitoring daily media coverage, and reporting on its impact on the client's business.
  • Regularly conduct media outreach for campaigns/clients and secure media placements.
  • Assist in executing program tactics for events, trade shows, promotions, and influencer mailings under supervision.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the client's business and industry trends and stay updated on cultural trends to inform our strategies.
  • Organize and manage events

BASIC FUNCTIONS:

  • Organization Skills: The ability to maintain order amidst chaos is crucial. This includes proficiency in task prioritization, time management, and creating efficient workflows.
  • Adaptability: Candidates should demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to handle a variety of tasks and sudden changes in priorities common in agency environments.
  • Speed and Agility: The ideal candidate should be able to work swiftly without sacrificing quality, efficiently transitioning between different tasks and projects. Seeking someone with hyper attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication (verbal and written) is essential for coordinating tasks, collaborating with team members, and managing client expectations.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: The capacity to think critically and solve problems on the go is highly valuable, especially when faced with unexpected challenges. We need critical thinkers!
  • Team Player Mentality: The ability to work well and collaborate within a team, provide support to colleagues, and contribute positively to the overall team dynamic is essential.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in the use of office programs (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) to ensure the completion of documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Social Media: Must love, live, and breathe social media and know how to use all the popular platforms.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor s degree from a fully accredited college or university.

Experience: Seeking someone with two to three years of communications-related work experience. Previous experience in a PR agency is preferred.

HYBRID WORK MODEL

IW Group has adopted a hybrid work model. Teams are required to work in the office at least twice per week.

  • While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee will spend most of the time working indoors, in the IW Group office, client office, or other identified location.
  • This role may require extended work hours (including weekends) to complete certain projects, with or without advance notice.
  • This role may require work outside of the office (i.e., client events) or travel outside of the local work area (i.e., national, or international client locations).
  • While performing the responsibilities of this role, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
