Job Description:

Pay: $175,000 - $220,000

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer within the posted range will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to, the individual's qualifications, education, relevant experience, and geographic location. This range isprovided in accordance with California's pay transparency laws.

401(k) - You become eligible to make personal contributions beginning the first of the month following 30 days of employment. The Account Director provides leadership to the assigned account - including facility operations for custodial, maintenance, project management, grounds, and sustainability. This position directs and oversees staff and is responsible for analyzing procedures, as well as identifying areas where process redesign will enhance accuracy, effectiveness, and efficiency.

Essential Functions

* Lead the delivery of facilities management services in an efficient and sustainable manner, including oversight of project planning and evaluation, budgeting, cost estimation, scope development, and implementation.

* Oversee Project Managers who handle specific projects within the account.

* Manage the company's quality control monitoring, safety, and training programs across all departments within the organization. This includes managing the Quality Assurance Manager, Safety Manager, and RCM Manager, among others Dept Heads.[

* Ensure the company meets and exceeds Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs), contributing to the development of these metrics.

* Drive innovation and creative problem solving across all service lines.

* Seek and implement operational improvements through standardized programs, procedures, and best practices.

* Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and all relevant federal, state, and local government regulations, including specific regulatory bodies such as OSHA, EPA, CARB, and SCAQMD.

* Proactively analyze and manage both the financial and operational performance of the assigned account.

* Develop and manage quarterly, monthly, and annual budgets for the account and perform periodic cost and productivity analysis.

* Responsible for capital planning and cash flow reporting; with company support, produce capital justification for executive-level presentations.

* Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.

* Manage and provide leadership to Managers and Lead personnel assigned to the account, including specific department heads focused on technical operations.

* Oversee managers to ensure that all paperwork, including terminations, labor variance action plans, and operational models, is complete, accurate, and submitted to the district hub in a timely manner.

* Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of personnel across the assigned campus, including multiple buildings.

* Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws, including directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, resolving problems, and terminating employees.

* Establish and implement short- and long-range account goals, objectives, strategic plans, policies, and operating procedures; monitor and evaluate programmatic and operational effectiveness and make necessary changes for improvement.

* Lead sustainability and building efficiency initiatives.

* Ensure that third-party service providers perform their duties as per contractual requirements and agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

* Special projects and other duties as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is strongly preferred.

* Minimum of 15 years of relevant and extensive facilities management experience in a service/customer-oriented environment, preferably in a Class A corporate headquarter commercial building or campus setup at a managerial level.

* Experience in articulating technical acumen and understanding as it relates to building operations and technical systems maintenance and operations.

* Experience directly managing large multifunctional facilities teams.

* Ability to build relationships and partnerships with different clients and service partners, delivering results that meet the needs and expectations of the clients.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Ability to build and lead a motivated and committed team across functional boundaries, utilizing the talent and expertise of team members in a productive way.

* Experience in budgeting, expense control, and financial forecasting/analysis.

* Experience in negotiating with labor unions.

* Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety regulations

* Ability to write reports and business correspondence, and effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and clients.

* Dedicated and passionate about delivering services at the highest level with a clear client-oriented focus.
