Brown & Brown is seeking an Account Executive to join their Commercial Lines Team in Brentwood, TN!
The Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for the renewal process for assigned Commercial Lines accounts, handling day to day service tasks, and building and maintaining a relationship with the customer via onsite client visits and other forms of communication. The renewal process includes working with the producer to gather updated risk & coverage data, completion of the CL Exposure Checklist and identification of the client's exposure to risk and suggestions on the proper insurance method to transfer the risk as part of the pre-renewal process. The Account Executive prepares the renewal submission, markets the renewal with qualified carriers, prepares the proposal for the renewal and if requested, presents, or co-presents the offer to renew to the client with the producer. Once coverage is requested by the insured the Account Executive will bind coverage, issue binders and invoices and update the agency management system with renewal information.
Additionally, the CL Account Executive is responsible for recommending new or enhanced lines of business when the opportunity arises.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Work with the producer and the client to identify risk exposures.
* Suggests insurance coverage to transfer the risk.
* Gathers up-to-date coverage and exposure information for the renewal.
* Preparation of the renewal submission
* Marketing of renewal policies
* Preparation of proposals, applications, and premium finance contracts, etc.
* Bind coverage with selected carriers, issue binders and invoices.
* Maintain up-to-date renewal expiration list.
* Meet all market security requirements of Brown & Brown of TN
* Properly follow all Brown & Brown of TN procedures for renewal of commercial lines policies
* Pursues a course of personal professional development.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Education and Experience Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in Commercial insurance Account Management
* TN Property & Casualty License
* 4-year college degree (preferred)
* Proficient in Microsoft suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
