27th December, 2024The CompanyOur Client is an experiential agency and they are looking for an Account Executive to join their team in a FT capacity in either their NY or San Fran offices. This is a an exciting opportunity for a stellar account and client services professional looking to work with one of the leading experiential agencies delivering events and brand experiences for global corporate brands.The RoleThe Account Executive will report to the Account Director, working with key clients and stakeholders across a large portfolio of events (live and virtual), conferences, and brand experiences. The role will be responsible for supporting the client and working cross-collaboratively across the company to support the delivery of the event. The Account Executive must have a proven background in event production, account management and client relations within the experiential space and be passionate about driving business and working to ensure the highest level outcome for all clients.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the accounts team and senior leadership in driving the vision, strategy and direction of the account and ensuring all projects and deliverables are in line with the client's goals and expectations
  • Cultivating and managing the day to day client and customer relationships and communications
  • Staff management
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams (both on-site and remotely) in delivering the event campaign from conception to execution
  • Collaborate across company departments (sales, production, creative) to ensure deliverables are in line with clients' goals
  • Identifying and understanding objectives for key clients and stakeholders
  • Negotiating and securing contracts
  • Tracking and managing budgets, schedules and project timelines
  • Undertake extensive reporting with clients post event to ensure ROI
  • Attend live, virtual and hybrid events to leverage networking opportunities and generate leads
  • Stay abreast of competitors and trends in the industry
  • Reports to the Account Director
This Job is Ideal for Someone who has
  • 3 years experience in account management and client management within the experiential, B2B events and brand experience space
  • Staff management experience
  • Agency background required
  • Client focused mindset
  • Experience working with C-suite for Fortune 500 clients
  • Exceptional experience managing, writing and responding to Client briefs and RFPs
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders including event operations, technical, marketing and creative teams
  • Proven experience being the voice for the company and maintaining exceptional client relationships
  • Proven experience working with multiple clients and projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong attention to detail, flexibility and accountability for results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for events and drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high pressure agency environment
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent time management and problem solving skills
  • Strong desire to work with a fun, creative and entrepreneurial team in a fast-paced agency environment.
  • The Candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed; as well as participate in overnight travel for events
  • Local and interstate travel may be required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits annually, dependent on experience. The salary is based on a range of factors, including relevant experience, skills, knowledge, job-related qualifications, complexity of the role, market considerations, geographic location and region, and budgetary considerations.
