Job Description:

As a Bio-Rad Account Executive, you will be a consultative and technical Account Executive covering Academic, Government, and non-profit accounts. Your primary territory is in the East Bay Area of CA. You'll be responsible for prospecting, nurturing, and closing sales leads for Droplet Digital PCR, Real-Time PCR, Imaging, Chromatography, and Bio-Plex Multiplex Immunoassay Systems. In this position, you will be involved in both team-based and individual selling scenarios. You will have opportunities to collaborate with colleagues to achieve collective sales goals, as well as take initiative and drive results independently. Salary + commission pay structure with company car provided. This position would require minimal overnight travel. How You'll Make an Impact:

  • Develop & execute a territory sales plan
  • Promote & sell the Bio-Rad equipment portfolio and accompanying consumable workflows to achieve territory sales goals
  • Build, manage, and grow sales opportunity funnel
  • Identify, nurture & grow sales opportunities
  • Manage & meet customer deadlines
  • Partner with sales team to ensure achievement of territory sales goals
  • Proactively update CRM on a daily basis
  • Proactively communicate with regional manager on activities, market trends, opportunities & forecast
  • Demonstrate Excellent oral & written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customer

What You'll Bring:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a life science discipline. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: 8+ Years of sales experience with a strong focus on selling both Genomics and Proteomics capital equipment & consumables portfolios preferred
  • Lab experience in Genomics/Proteomics preferred (ddPCR, qPCR, Western Blotting, Chromatography, etc.)
  • Advanced business acumen with the ability to articulate financial justification both internally and externally.
  • Excellent closing skills, interpersonal skills, presentation skills and organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer use and software programs, e.g., Microsoft Office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $114,700 to $157,800 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
