Title: Account Executive - Interior ConstructionDepartment: SalesFLSA Status: ExemptSupervisory Responsibilities: NoSummary:The Account Executive, Interior Construction role is responsible for driving prefabricated construction sales and marketing efforts within their assigned location. Our prefab construction offerings include glass/solid walls, modular power, decorative/structural timber, and millwork. Will target end users, architects/designers, and construction managers to identify opportunities, educate and close business; and work closely with the internal team of estimators, project managers and field superintendents to successfully implement projects and develop repeat client business. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Build relationships and be the voice within the business community raising the Interior Construction profile with potential clients and key influencers including Designers, Architects, and General Contractors
- Create and implement a strong business development plan to identify and engage potential customers and win project opportunities
- Identify key target accounts and develop relationships within those organizations
- Attend events in the local business community and events in the Design/Construction world
- Utilize our CRM System to forecast business and track known leads/opportunities
- Present our Interior Construction products and solutions focusing on the innovative methods and technology we utilize to deliver better construction outcomes for our clients
- Work as a leader on our team motivating others and providing leadership to accomplish team goals alongside estimators, designer, and project managers
- Monitor progress on multiple projects from start to finish to ensure high level of client satisfaction
- Work as a partner with our manufacturers - appreciate and utilize each other's talents
- Develop and maintain expert-level product and process knowledge to successfully implement projects
- Participate in the construction process with our team from start to finish - identify opportunities, determine scope, develop pricing strategy, assist with contract negotiation, and oversee project implementation
- Understanding of conventional construction process and develop the ability to articulate the prefabricated construction value proposition - cost certainty, schedule compression, and increased flexibility
- Review shop drawings, prepare and submit orders to the factory
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of details of each project and scope of work on-site
- Other duties as required

- 4-year college degree with focus on design, architecture, or construction preferred
- Relevant work experience, including design, architectural or construction background preferred
- Valid driver's license and personal car required
- Strong marketing and sales capabilities, must have proven experience in closing sales
- Strong and effective presentation skills with the ability to be a solutions provider
- Understanding of Interior Construction - architecture, electrical, and general building requirements, and the conventional construction process (from project award to completion)
- Understanding of the Architectural process (Conceptual design, SD, DD, CD, CA)
- Ability to read floor plans and CD specifications
- Exercise flexibility, initiative, good judgment and discretion in handling confidential materials and matters as well as highly complex sales challenges
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of people within and outside of COR
- Must be able to read, write, interpret and communicate fluently in English
- Writing skills must be sufficient to compose and edit a variety of documents using correct spelling, grammar and punctuation with the ability to pay close attention to detail and proofread work carefully
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn and use new computer programs/applications
