About the Team

On the Regional Outbound Account Executive team, our mission is to promote growth in local economies by building connections with businesses across the nation and promoting the DoorDash platform. Stationed locally, this team owns new business development by creating deep partnerships with the most coveted local and regional restaurants across the US.

About the Role

We are looking for an Account Executive (RAE) to join our Regional Sales team. As an Account Executive, you are responsible for bringing on the best local and regional small and mid-size merchants (SMB) onto DoorDash. You will own the complete sales process from start to finish while operating in a transactional deal cycle, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. In this role, you will creatively engage with prospects while achieving metrics.

You will report to the Inside Sales Manager, where you'll have direct access to grow your career to the next level. We expect this role to be flexible, with time spent remote/in-field/in-office and the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.

* You have at least 1+ years of outbound sales experience

* You have experience with fast-paced, short sales cycle (closing deals within a few days)

* You have demonstrated success in high-volume outreach environments

* You have strong skills in cold outreach techniques

* You have experience of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets

* You have interest in moving into outside/field sales in the future
