The Account Executive will be responsible for servicing a book of Commercial Lines accounts. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Responsible for servicing a commercial book of business- marketing, underwriting, servicing, renewal negotiation, risk analysis, consulting, problem resolution, reviewing and rating
- Maintain productive business relations and engage in extensive contact with clients, producers and underwriters
- Ensure client has continuous and proper coverage and advise client of any change recommendations
- Responsible for Assistant Account Executive workflows if applicable, such as computer inputting and general policy servicing. May direct assistant to perform at higher levels, such preparing specifications, meeting clients and interacting insurance carriers
- Review current policies and provide recommendations regarding placement options. Utilize coverage checklist and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage and premiums
- Rounding out and cross selling book of business to reach agency/department growth goals
- Responsible for the integrity of policies and related documents
- Apply knowledge of coverages and forms to research and reconcile discrepancies
- Participate in the development of new business and retention of renewal business. Interact with producers to prepare specifications, applications, underwriting data and related information in the marketing of insurance products
- Produce business proposals and deliver presentations to clients
Requirements and Qualifications: - Minimum of 5+ years of commercial brokerage experience servicing accounts
- Valid P&C brokers' license
- College degree preferred
- Must possess a developing knowledge of commercial insurance markets to place new/renewal business
- Demonstrate proficiency in computer applications, esp. Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Sagitta agency management system

The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $65,000 - $121,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
