This position represents the company at one of the highest levels and is often the first point of contact and introduction to prospective clients and community organizations. The Account Executive represents the company and presents an image of who we are. The Account Executive is a very powerful salesperson, and one who provides the introduction to M.A. Polce and its products, solutions, and capabilities. Researching and acquiring new customers is one of the primary components of the role.In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:

Essential Functions
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting perspective clients, discovering, and exploring opportunities
- Manage assigned key accounts and maintain effective communications, acting as liaison between client and M.A. Polce
- Consistently introduces and educates perspective clients on M.A. Polce's products and services
- Effectively documents the dialogue and progress of all business opportunities in the company's CRM
- When necessary, effectively presents client contract renewals and service upgrades
- Effectively identifies new revenue opportunities by conducting a client-based needs analysis
- Develops and implements prospective client account strategies to meet / exceed revenue objectives
- Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
- Supports and works closely with sales team members in closing new business deals
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading industry professional publications, and maintaining professional networks
- Participates in professional organizations as deemed necessary and advantageous to the company being in the company's best interest - i.e., Chamber of Commerce
- Works closely with marketing initiatives including prospect database, advertising, promotional and special events
- Represent M.A. Polce Consulting in community activities to promote a better business environment and community relationships and serve as a company spokesperson
- Other duties as requested Some travel required.
- Participation in functions and events sometimes outside normal business hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years marketing / sales experience in Information Technology or related discipline
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Must possess excellent organizational skills
- Travel in central and Upstate New York is expected

Desired certification/ Licensing:Education:
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, or related discipline or have the equivalent in experience with emphasis on sales, business, and / or information technology
