What We Need:

Katz Digital is seeking an Account Executive to join their CTV team in Chicago or Detroit. As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving our sales organization to new heights. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business. Your role will involve acting as a trusted advisor, requiring you to be a collaborative team player, a strong leader, and a proactive, strategic problem solver. Your efforts will significantly impact the company's growth and success.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of video advertising and the Katz CTV platform.
  • Secure client meetings to advance partnership discussions.
  • Strategically position platform to enhance revenue generation.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across various client segments.
  • Leverage industry expertise and sales tools to research and prospect new accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in Katz Digital's platform.
  • Engage in high-level discovery conversations with senior agency and client decision-makers.
  • Prepare and respond to RFPs with professionalism and excellence.
  • Drive revenue across diverse verticals.
  • Provide regular business forecasts.
  • Achieve and surpass revenue targets set by your manager.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to ensure a smooth post-sales process.
  • Work with internal cross-functional teams to ensure successful campaign execution.

What You'll Need:

  • 4-year college degree.
  • Over 3 years of experience in digital advertising or traditional TV sales.
  • In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry, particularly video advertising.
  • Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and sales skills, with a talent for consultative and solution-oriented selling.
  • Experience in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through proactive prospecting.
  • Proficient in ad campaign metrics and performance analysis.
  • Demonstrated honesty, integrity, and a robust work ethic.

  • Knowledge of the media industry and related sales processes

  • Desire to broaden sales capabilities and knowledge base

  • Accountability for your own work and a desire to provide guidance to new team members

  • Objective judgement and prior experience to solve business problems

  • Strong written and verbal communication, comfortable applying active listening and influencing skills to drive sales

  • Understanding of impact of your own efforts to meet sales quotas

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
