Microsoft Advertising (MSA) empowers the largest advertisers around the world to reach their maximum potential through digital advertising solutions on the Microsoft Advertising platform. We are seeking an Account Executive, Media and Ad Tech Solutions (AE) with digital advertising experience who can drive revenue and increase customer satisfaction by developing and cultivating strategic client relationships and delivering customized solutions aligning to the client's advertising needs.The Account Executive, Media and Ad Tech Solutions in Microsoft Advertising enables Microsoft to better serve strategic customers by applying customer obsession to what clients care about and need, ensuring our Microsoft Advertising story is valued and understood, and acting to build successful, long-term relationships.The AE will drive revenue growth through selling Microsoft media and technology to agencies, curators and retail media networks, platform/tech businesses, Advertising Technology (Ad Tech) and Marketing Technology (Mar Tech) companies, and partners. The AE will play a central role in the execution of the sales strategy of Microsoft Advertising's Display, Native, Video and Gaming solutions. The AE develops and maintains customer relationships anchored on connections with C-level executives and Business and Technical Decision Makers in customers' organizations. The AE develops quality customer plans laying out revenue and customer satisfaction growth strategies. Success is measured by specific success indicators focused on driving adoption, emphasizing customer experience, and optimizing opportunities. The AE performs their role with execution excellence to drive client success and business results. In alignment with our Microsoft values, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive work environment for all employees to positively impact our culture every day.Required/Minimum Qualifications9+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertisingOR Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 8+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertisingOR Master's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 5+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertisingOR equivalent experience2+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales, preferably in programmaticExperience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, Search Engine Marketing (SEM) platform, Demand-side Platform ( DSP), Data Management Platform (DMP), or other online advertising company.Additional or Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 12+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertisingOR Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field AND 10+ years experience in Sales, Advertising, or Marketing with a focus on online media, or digital advertisingOR equivalent experienceExperience making recommendations to mid- to senior- level executivesProgrammatic platform sales experience highly preferredExisting relationships with decision-makers at advertising agencies, curators and networksQuantitative skills and negotiations abilityExperience in digital transformation and acquisitions/systems integrationAdvertising Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,100 - $185,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $144,000 - $203,500 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Purposefully positions outcomes within the context of the client's digital marketing journey from current to future state.You will work to influence Chief Marketing Officers CMO , Chief Technology Officers CTO , Chieg Product Officer CPO , Chief Revenue Officer CRO , and Chief Digital Marketing Stakeholders through Relationship Building as a compelling storyteller, leading with emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence and by effectively listening to identify clients' end to end needs.You will lead Sales planning with the Account team including achieving sales targets and increasing existing budgets while also opening new share of wallet opportunities with Audience ads and other incubations products and ensure shared accountability for sales targets with the v-team. Works in partnership with v-team to bring the best resources to ensure deal success.You will expand the client's view of the importance of MSA products and concede negotiables in an order that ensures both parties feel they are winning. Effectively maintains good working relationships with those involved in negotiation; persuading others without using manipulation and maintaining a positive atmosphere during difficult objections & negotiations.You will lead the update of pipeline reviewing top new opportunities, identifying roadblocks, and ensures the right resources are engaged to overcome client objections.
