Purpose of Position:
This position will be a valued member of the National Convenience Store Sales team with:
- Assigned account responsibilities
- Ability to work closely with our national network of processing facilities and distribution centers on any issues or opportunities pertaining to Convenience Store customers.
Accountabilities:
- Communicate with customers on all aspects of orders processed; production, documents required, final delivery and billing info
- Must understand overall company sales priorities and work in a collaborative way to support the highest overall company profitability
- Manage select accounts and provide backup capacity to handle accounts when shorthanded.
- Work with internal and external departments to resolve issues (i.e. payment deductions, service level disputes, quality concerns, etc.) and be able to report on resolution.
Minimum Skills Required:
- 5+ years relevant experience in the food industry
- Experience working with convenience stores, foodservice distributors, wholesalers, and retailers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the proven ability to work with customers and team members at all levels
- Must be a team player with a can-do attitude
- General understanding of receivables and deductions
- College Degree (in a related field) from an accredited institution, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook) – SAP and Power BI a plus.
