THIS IS A REMOTE OPPORTUNITY IN THE US.

As Spiro continues its impressive growth as part of the GES Collective Spiro is hiring an Account Manager to join our Brand Activation & Events (BAE) team. The Account Manager will work closely with the Account Directors and Production teams on the delivery of a variety of experiential projects including live events, conferences, exhibitions and virtual events.

The AM is responsible for meeting client objectives and exceeding client expectations by delivering best-in-class service, providing proactive solutions, quality products and services on-time and on-budget. In a client service capacity they will maintain positive client relationships and assist in growing client business as appropriate.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of clients' products, services, exhibition practices, workflow procedures and ongoing marketing goals.
  • Manage and onboard exhibitors to internal processes and account best practice.
  • Oversee Project Coordinators and administration to ensure smooth exhibitor management and delivery.
  • Work closely with the client to make any necessary adjustments to the exhibition layout or exhibitor processes.
  • Follow a project timeline, communicating with the client to highlight any issues with production of the exhibition.
  • Work with designers to develop project specifications and obtain estimates.
  • Prepare detailed project cost proposals and present to clients alongside the Project Lead.
  • Manage Spiro and 3rd party production, show service and logistics details prior to the show including coordinating Design, Estimating, Project Management, Transport, I&D and Show Services to ensure budgets, timelines and deliverables are achieved.
  • Work with the HSSE Manager to develop CDM plans and co-ordinate Health and Safety planning
  • Communicate H&S plans to onsite teams, record details of inductions, incidents, and accidents. Proactively monitor site safety.
  • Travel to show venue to supervise construction, fulfil client requirements for show-site support through to dismantling as required.
  • Document show-site activities and produce post-show review in conjunction with Project Lead.
  • Monitor job costs in order to effectively manage project budgets and achieve or exceed forecasted show profit.
  • Review invoice against proposal to determine variances. Investigate unexplained variances to determine validity and accuracy.
  • Provide timely reports as required; deliver presentations internally and externally.
  • Take a participative role in the Company's sustainability initiative and ensure where possible your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish

  • Ideally 4+ years of Event Management, Senior Event Project Management experience
  • Up to 35% travel required.
