About the Role:
We are in search of a dynamic, strategic, and customer-focused sales team member for PSi's Hobby and Independent Sales channels, eager to spearhead our efforts in the Toys, Games, and Entertainment categories across the US market. As an Account Manager, you will be instrumental to prospecting, onboarding, and managing customer accounts, and delivering sales growth for the channel. You will be crucial in developing long-term relationships with retail and distribution partners to deliver an increased share of the marketplace for our brands. You'll use your product knowledge and industry expertise to find and foster synergies between brand strategies and growth opportunities, and our partners. This role will be accountable for delivering high quality results, and maintaining meaningful relationships and rapport with numerous Independent accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Drive the business of customer accounts to meet or exceed company-set goals
- Encourage and build strong business relationships with assigned customers through regular conversations, intended to grow sales
- Understand specific customer needs to drive newness and innovation in the marketplace while also supporting foundational items.
- Deeply encompass PSi's sales strategy and priorities to provide best-in-class recommendations to customers.
- Stay up to date on provided Brand product training to understand and execute upon brand strategies and priorities.
- Partner with Operations, Customer Service and Planning teams to ensure that customer purchase orders are filled on time and in-full
- Monitor and analyze assigned customer business results that lead to the development of actionable insights to improve the business
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives that support assigned customer programs (e.g., marketing programs, special packaging, retail programs, bundled offerings, etc.)
- Lead and execute the call for orders process bi-weekly to list of customers
- Planning and execution of PSI presence at distributor and industry shows.
- Manage retailer initiatives such as demo programs, pre-launch kits, communication initiatives
- Ensure strong understanding of brand catalogs, new releases, growth priorities, and production plans
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a strong emphasis on business.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in sales within the Hobby and Independent marketplace
- Demonstrated negotiation and facilitation skills with the ability to own multiple projects
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.
- Capacity to thrive in a cross-functional environment while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
