Job Description:Job Description: The Account Manager's role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders. Account Managers answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Customer Service and Product Development departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position requires travel. Ideally, candidates for this role will know how to meet ambitious individual and team-wide sales quotas. Ultimately, a successful Account Manager should collaborate with our team to achieve quotas while keeping our clients satisfied and engaged with our products and services in the long run.Essential Functions:Basic understanding of the company's products or services.Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.Knowledge of sales principles and techniques.Awareness of the industry and market trends.Ownership of financial margins with ongoing cost-saving improvement activities (Kaizen's, etc.) that will have a positive impact to the bottom line.Proactive notifications and resolution to customers.Develop deeper relationships with customers, while also continuing to find new avenues to expand the business.Establish and lead defined touchpoint client meetings to support effective communication flow.Resolve discrepancies and exceptions, taking into account the financial impacts on both the company and its customers.Work with the Leadership Team to facilitate customer improvements, whether on cost or service which they have identified.Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
