~ Top Requirements of the Corporate Accounting Manager ~
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting
- CPA certification
- Solid knowledge of GAAP Accounting
- Excellent Excel experience
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive learner who enjoys solving problems and facing a variety of challenges
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and take ownership of work product
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently with limited direction from the manager
~ What You'll Do as a Corporate Accounting Manager ~
- Perform monthly consolidation of financial statements
- Present and review monthly and year-end financial statements
- Maintain the Loan schedule
- Ensure the accuracy of the general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial statements
- Prepare and review adjusting journal entries
- Collaborate with auditors and respond to inquiries regarding financial statements and tax matters
- Assist the accounting team with ad-hoc projects as needed
~ What You'll Bring to the Corporate Accounting Manager Role ~
- 5+ years of accounting experience with a mix of public and private sectors (preferred)
- Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements (preferred)
- Exposure to real estate accounting is a plus
