Account Manager We are looking for an Account Manager for our Dayton, OH facility. In this role you will actively identify new business opportunities and drive sales for our world-class products. You will dedicate approximately 60% of your time to generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals with both existing and potential clients, while the remaining 40% will be spent on maintaining and nurturing existing accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention. This balance will enable you to make a significant contribution to our overall success. Your Responsibilities:Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling while maintaining a robust pipeline of qualified leads.Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, cultivating strong relationships with key decision-makers.Negotiate and finalize sales contracts to achieve or exceed targets, collaborating with marketing and manufacturing teams to develop effective sales strategies and campaigns.Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.Proactively pursue new clients to generate new revenue growthExceed sales targetsProvide management with regular sales reports and forecasts.Responsible for sales targets & budget for territoryManage & develop new business for your assigned organizationWork closely with operations and quality to achieve the ultimate customer experienceInfluence new technologies, service offerings & investments for territoryYour Profile:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or over 5 years of extensive experience in manufacturing and customer relations.Experience in the Automotive Industry, particularly with knowledge of conventional ICE powertrains and/or EV Battery Systems.Proven track record as a Sales Hunter or in a similar sales role, with a strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.Results-driven, with a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets and proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and SAP.Commitment to self-development, adherence to company policies, and alignment with corporate goals, mission, and vision.Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to manufacturing locations in Dayton, OH, and Milwaukee, WI, as well as to customer sites across North America as needed.We offer: Aside from a dynamic global culture and leading market position, we are proud to offer our employees development opportunities, competitive salary and a robust benefit program ALL available on first day of employment!
