Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from procurement to final packaging and shipping.
LSO's is headquartered in Brea, CA (North Orange County). In January 2023, the Company added its east coast facility in Somersworth, New Hampshire (formerly J-Pac Medical). We are currently seeking a self-motivated Account Manager with positive, engagement and collaborative energy to join our team and support the continued growth of the New Hampshire Facility.
The Account Manager primary responsibility is to build and maintaining strong relationships with LSO Customers, which include the full spectrum of OEM medical device manufacturers. Account Managers primary goal will be to understand customers' needs/ requirements and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality medical devices that meet regulatory standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationship Management:
* Serve as the main point of contact for assigned customers and maintain regular communication.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
* Understand client needs, concerns, and objectives to deliver tailored solutions and exceed expectations.
* Conduct regular business reviews and address any issues proactively.
Project Management:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, etc.) to ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule.
* Coordinate with clients and internal teams to establish project scope, objectives, and timelines.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential roadblocks, and implement effective solutions.
Sales and Business Development:
* Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
* Participate in sales meetings and presentations to potential clients.
* Assist in the development of sales strategies to expand the company's customer base.
* Support Commercial team as needed.
* Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:
* Stay updated on industry regulations and standards related to medical device manufacturing.
* Ensure that all projects adhere to relevant quality and regulatory requirements.
Customer Support:
* Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
* Work closely with the customer support team to resolve any technical issues or product inquiries.
* Market Research and Analysis:
* Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitive landscape, and potential growth opportunities.
* Analyze market data to identify potential target clients and assist in developing strategic account plans.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. A degree in a healthcare-related discipline is a plus.
* Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or similar role in the medical device industry or related field.
* Strong understanding of medical device manufacturing processes, quality standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485).
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build rapport with clients and internal teams.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
* Proficient in MS Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, preferably Salesforce.
* Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients or attend industry events.
