I. Position Description
Ecobat is a world leader in the efficient and safe recycling of lead. With the growth of lithium-ion battery materials, Ecobat has committed to recycling these scrap and end of life materials as part of their Solutions division. This Key Account Manager role will report directly to the global head of sales for the Solutions division and be responsible for the continued build out of customers in North America as well as internal business processes.
II. Performance Objectives
* Contribute a strong sense of entrepreneurship and urgency to our global team, with a focus on developing the customer base in the North American market
* Drive the development, implementation, and optimization of the order to cash process in NA
* Actively seek out opportunities to source Lithium-Ion Batteries and Battery Scrap from multiple sources in the value chain (Battery Cell Producers, Automotive OEMs, Scrap Facilities, etc.)
* Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as the main point of contact and trusted ambassador for the Solutions business
* Leverage robust organization and project management skills to generate, track, and close on multiple leads and workstreams at once; this includes lead generation and relationship building all the way through the order-to-cash process
* Manage the commercial inputs for S&OP coordination
III. Qualifications
* Ideal a candidate has knowledge of commodity buying/selling - preferred 5+ years of experience in battery or adjacent metal trading spaces.
* Demonstrated experience with back office systems including SAP - experienced with PO and Invoice creation
* Strong project management skills and a demonstrated track record coordinating multiple work streams simultaneously
* Excellent communication skills - speaking confidently and creating clear written correspondence
* Proactive (not reactive) mindset; ideal candidate is someone with leadership potential and ambition
* Approachable and trustworthy - able to cultivate and grow strong client relationships
* Willing and able to travel up to 50% within the US
This role will report directly to the senior leadership on the Ecobat Solutions commercial team; The expectation is that the candidate will be results driven, leadership-minded, and coachable.
