Job Type Full-time Description Seabreeze Property Services is seeking an Account Manager to help support our commercial landscaping and snow customers. The maintenance division consists of all mowing, cleanups, turf care, bed maintenance, plant care, mulching, annuals, and snow removal services for predominantly commercial clients. The account manager must be familiar with aspects of these services, including best practices, trends, estimating, sales, production, and customer service. Seabreeze Account Managers' primary responsibility is to manage and grow existing accounts and ensure their needs are met. Successful account managers build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with commercial property owners and managers. The role is also focused on developing new customer relationships by articulating Seabreeze's value proposition and designing maintenance programs that fit customers' requirements. The ideal candidate has great communication skills, an eye for detail, and landscaping industry knowledge. The Account Manager will report to the Head of Account Management and Sales. Requirements Specific duties include:

  • Manage daily customer relationships to ensure continuous sales growth and excellent client service
  • Respond to incoming customer requests and questions, via phone, email and in person
  • Perform regular, documented site visits to customer properties to assess conditions, solicit feedback, and identify opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Seabreeze operations team to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner
  • Create contract estimates for prospective customers using landscape maintenance software
  • Generate new sales leads, work towards sales targets, and expand revenue from our current customer accounts
  • Retain customers by building strong, trusting relationships
  • Work collaboratively with customers to create proposals that fit both their needs and their budgets
  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our business offerings, competitors, and industry trends
  • Ensure all jobs are kept on schedule and on budget
Requirements
  • 3+ years of estimating, sales or relevant hardscape or landscape experience
  • Experience planning and executing prospecting activities leading to initial and follow-up meetings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to meet established deadlines
  • Must be organized, self-driven, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Thrives under pressure, handles customer escalations in a calm and solution-oriented manner
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. The role involves traveling locally to visit customer properties
  • Enjoys networking and meeting new people
  • Available for all winter snow events
  • Possess a genuine love for the outdoors and landscaping
