A CourtAvenue Account Manager, affectionately referred to as the Manager, Business Innovations (BI), is part of a team focused on partnering with our clients, understanding their business needs and championing them within CourtAvenue. The Manager, Business Innovations supports BI leadership in assuming full responsibility for their accounts, strategically guiding the business and providing innovative and valuable input to help solve our clients challenges. The Manager, BI is ambitious, driven to be one step ahead of the client and team, fearless in terms of learning and growing, deeply curious to grow their skills and bring value to the work and possesses excellent communication skills. This person is eager to build meaningful and constructive relationships across internal and client teams. Responsibilities:
- Act as the clients' primary point of contact, functioning as a liaison between them and the internal team, for identified projects.
- Get to know the client, the work, and the team so you can stay one step ahead.
- Lead projects by comprehending client workflows and agency deliverables at a granular level.
- Manage multiple responsibilities at once while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor and positive attitude.
- Work cross functionally within the CA collective to ensure seamless execution and support of client work
- For your projects, act as the voice of the client internally, providing direction and feedback to the team for client work, including brief creation at times.
- Bring a POV to the work and the team. Ensure that it is grounded in strategy and informed by the client's needs and goals.
- Communicate project/account progress and challenges in a timely and succinct way
Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following: - Client status documents and running client status calls
- Retail Displays execution
- Banner Ad creative
- Digital Shelf initiatives
- Assisting the team with financial reporting
- Timeline development
- Assisting the team with resourcing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Advertising, Communications, or related field
- 4+ years of related experience, preferably in an agency or marketing services firm
- A strong account or project management background, including experience leading small and large accounts and/or projects
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to all levels of clients and other stakeholders
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- Experience identifying business development opportunities and translating them into actionable growth opportunities
- An eye for finance to assess burn and risk
- Self-starter with a passionate attitude and sense of commitment to get the job done quickly, properly, and with the highest quality
- Excellent analytical and process-oriented skills
