About the Team The Aftermarket team at ZF Farmington Hills supports sales to customers out of our warehousing and distribution facility in Garrett, Indiana, as well as products direct shipped to customers from ZF manufacturing facilities. The main product categories include braking, steering, and electronics. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for overall management of existing customer accounts. Candidate will be directly and/or indirectly responsible for all aspects of the account(s) including sales, profitability, accounts receivable, delivery, and quality. The Aftermarket Sales team is very collaborative working closely with other departments including Customer Service, Operations, Materials Management, Quality and Engineering, as well as other salespeople within the ZF OE organization. A successful candidate will be well organized, motivated, detailed minded, and able to communicate effectively with both the customer(s) as well as with internal ZF employees cross functionally What you can look forward to as an Account Manager
- Develop, maintain, and manage planning of customer deliverables: quotations, inquiries, market research, analysis, writing, document review, or projects
- Closey monitor assignments and ensure successful and timely completion of project tasks and responsibilities
- Determine relative strengths and weaknesses of our competitiors and communicate to regional teams
- Lead efforts within the customer organizations to gather sales data in a format that will measure effectiveness
- Design and create programs tailored to the unique strengths of the company and customers
Your Profile as an Account Manager - Bachelors Degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field
- Minimum 3+ years experience in OEM or OEM service with braking, steering, and electronic products
- Proficiency in SAP, Sharepoint and Microsoft Office
- Ability to read basic drawings and understands the design attributes of braking, steering and electronic products
