Job Title: Key Account Manager
Job Description
The Key Account Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. This role requires a proven track record in generating and qualifying leads into active accounts.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement a strategy for short, mid, and long-term business growth.
+ Coordinate regional after-sales service and support plans with the VTS team.
+ Provide new and differentiated product solutions based on customer demand and market requirements.
+ Conduct risk assessments and establish measures in collaboration with the General Manager.
+ Manage orders and deliveries in cooperation with the Order Management Team.
+ Maintain accurate forecasts and communicate closely with planners in the Product Company.
+ Negotiate pricing with customers in accordance with company guidelines.
+ Monitor and report on customer status, including market position, financial results, and product portfolio.
+ Prepare regular business forecasts and reports for the General Manager.
+ Establish and maintain professional and friendly relationships with all customer levels.
+ Plan and prioritize personal sales activities to achieve business targets.
+ Analyze and provide timely market information to management, including pricing situations and competitive activities.
+ Develop proposals for sales products, applying discount strategies and using quoting tools.
+ Maintain good customer relationships and ensure on-time delivery and product quality.
+ Update CRM with customer visit reports, opportunities, and quotation status information.
+ Work with the Finance department to improve receivables and overdue performance.
+ Coordinate with colleagues from other divisions to maximize customer relationships and business outcomes.
+ Attend sales meetings and undertake subsequent actions.
+ Participate in ad-hoc projects related to new products and marketing campaigns.
+ Provide regular customer feedback and information.
+ Develop new business potential within the targeted business territory.
Essential Skills
+ Technical sales experience, particularly in engineering sales.
+ Outside sales experience.
+ Account management skills.
+ Proficiency in cold calling.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in a technical field.
+ Experience in engineering sales.
Work Environment
The position operates Monday through Friday, with 20-25% travel required across the country to meet customers and attend trade shows. On-site training is mandatory; however, remote work may be considered for candidates who can periodically attend on-site sessions as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.54 - $52.37
