Title: Technical Sales/Account Manager

Work hours: 8 hours a day, core time is 8am-3pm
Reports to: Sales Director
This Technical Sales/Account Manager will support the Sales Department by performing the following duties:
Job Duties:
· Engage, qualify, and conduct customer needs analysis to discover requirements for existing and new programs
· Explore and develop new product RFQ's in traditional and new added value opportunities.
· Lead presentations to customers, demonstrate our products, technology and capability.
· Lead, manage, and provide technical input on customer RFQ processes.
· Formulate cost breakdowns, assist supplier RFQ and co-ordinate RFQ response for internal approval and customer submission
· Lead purchase activities such as sourcing, VAVE by communicating with suppliers, project team and make decision based on QCD data.
· Co-ordinate design review and team feasibility commitments during nomination and development phases tracking cost and price impacts
·Collaborate across project teams to achieve customer satisfaction and company objectives.
· Achieve customer delight through continual improvement of systems and company response.
· Gather and analyze competitor aspects for benchmarking competitiveness of price, product and technology
· Manage confidential information such as pricing and technical information.
· Manage cost and price changes during the project life including material price fluctuations and customer cost initiatives
· Gather, communicate and follow CSR's, Quality Management, Corporate Responsibility and Environmental Management Systems
· Participate and promote plant and customer sustainability / recycling programs.
·Contribute to the achievement of quality/management objectives by ensuring that company policies, procedures, and processes are followed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Travel requirement:
· Travel (Includes overseas, mainly Japan)
· Up to 25% travel
Qualifications:
· Bachelors in engineering or Technical Field; 3-5 years' experience working in similar sales or technical role, with expertise in customer relationship management.
·Must be able to travel 25% in region as well as Overseas facilities occasionally.
· Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
·Fantastic communications skills
· Working knowledge with OEM's Subaru / Honda / Toyota.
· Japanese language skill is preferred (Not necessary)
