What the position entails: As a member of the Controller's Team, this position supports Global Accounts Receivables (A/R), cash processing, and performing routine clerical functions of the Accounting Department. - Enter and maintain accurate A/R data in the ERP system
- Enter and maintain all A/R Cash application transactions
- Maintain accurate customer A/R sub ledger
- Reconcile A/R and intercompany A/R accounts monthly
- Investigate payment discrepancies and resolve differences
- Work with Sales Department and the customer to understand payment discrepancies and develop solutions
- Lead monthly meetings with sales account managers and VPs to discuss current issues in A/R
- Perform weekly and monthly A/R status reporting
- Look for ways to improve A/R processes
- Responsible for a set of balance sheet accounts reconciliation
- Work with intercompany account reconciliation with our Mexico location
- Other Accounting duties as assigned
- Actively support Brazeway's Code of Conduct and Quality Policy
- Actively support our 5S + Safety programs
The Right Fit for this Position will have:
- Associate degree in accounting preferred
- 2-4 years of recent experience with Accounts Receivable required (in a manufacturing environment preferred)
- Experience with an ERP system required
- Strong desire to work in a team atmosphere
- Excellent organization, communication, people, computer, and written skills
- Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus
