Job Description Summary The Account Representative will be responsible for developing, cultivating, and growing DistributionNOW's customer base within a specified territory and specialty, and will act as the representative of DNOW for specific customers, maintaining and enhancing the business relationships with those companies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary focus will be driving sales through focused strategies within a diverse customer base.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers with current and prospective customers.
- Maintains a high degree of applications and product knowledge.
- Meets or exceed sales goals by retaining current customers and taking market share from the competition.
- Responsible for business development, identifying market trends, and gaining competitive knowledge.
- Develop and execute a weekly call schedule and strategy to close new opportunities within your assigned account package.
- Demonstrates excellent time management skills.
- Possesses strong communications skills when projects and customers cross territories.
- Performs other duties as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - High School Diploma or equivalent. College preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience with extensive contacts with end users in the specified area.
- Relevant business experience & product knowledge
- MS Office skills (Excel and Word).
- Oral and written communication skills, presentation, marketing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to initiate and adapt to change, and work as part of small and large teams.
- Must have current, valid driver's license and acceptable record at all times.
- Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
- Strong work ethic and integrity, positive and assertive attitude.
- Maintain and enhance good working relationships with customers.
- Detail-oriented, organized and analytical, goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task.
