Heatherwood currently owns and operates thousands of apartments and employs approximately 250 associates.The Accounts Supervisor will report to the Community Manager and will provide clerical and administrative services to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate payment of accounts under their control. A person in this position must possess superior organizational, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.Requirements
  • Process manual rent deposits and payments.
  • Process and review electronic payments.
  • Review new leases, renewal leases, and manage 3rd party subsidy agencies.
  • Responsible for execution of final billing and apartment damage charges.
  • Process monthly late charges to resident account.
  • Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
  • Handle escrow security deposits and refunds.
  • Perform account reconciliations.
  • Support our legal team by providing monthly unpaid charge reports to initiate rent demands.
  • Research and resolve ledger discrepancies directly with customers.
  • Assist and support customers with resident portal. This includes but is not limited to creating accounts, account management, and technical support both in person and over the phone.
  • Comply with any state and/or city-required mandates.
  • Achieve financial objectives through rent collection by carrying out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
  • Address and resolve customer account concerns in a timely and professional manner; ensuring a level of service that results in high customer loyalty and satisfaction.
  • This position is a resident/customer-facing position which will require the associate to field walk in resident questions.
  • Help and support leasing consultants to achieve sales goals by assisting with the leasing process.
  • The Account Supervisor position will be located on-site.
Qualifications
  • Notary Public certification will be required for this role; the company will sponsor and support obtaining the certification.
  • YARDI Voyager, RentCafe, and SuiteSpot experience preferred.
  • Payment processing experience is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual is a plus.
  • Exposure to revenue, profit and loss statements, and budget management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of Property Management experience required.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Salary Description 55,000 - 65,000 - Hourly
