Our nearly 2,000 employees and 1,000 Account Executives located in 40+ sales offices across the United States are the reason HALO is the global leader in branded merchandise, uniform programs, and recognition and incentive solutions.HALO is looking for an Account Support Advisor who will ensure excellent customer service and be responsible for addressing customer inquiries, resolving order issues, and providing information about products discrepancies, damages, returns, and shipment inquires, etc.. This role involves effective communication, problem-solving, and a commitment to meeting customer needs through various channels as phone, email and live chat. To be successful in this role, one should have a deepunderstanding of the company's product, services, and a deep commitment to providing accurate and timely information to our customers.This role works a hybrid schedule with 1x in-person working days at our Sterling, IL headquarters. RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Correspond with customers via phone, email, chat, etc., regarding issues with product orders, pricing discrepancies, and shipment tracking, etc..
  • Communicate with manufacturers regarding made to order products, customization, and estimated delivery time
  • Advise customers on alternative product selection as a solution to backorder, or out of stock issues
  • Document customer interactions and problems in the company's CRM system.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of customer correspondence for documentation referencing.
  • Escalate complicated issues to management when needed.
  • Provide backup support to team members when required.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of clerical and/or customer service experience (i.e. Call-Center, Customer Support Center, etc.)
  • Basic computer and internet skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset
  • Time management, prioritization & problem-solving capabilities
  • Multi-tasking and working well under deadline pressure
  • Projection of a positive and professional attitude
  • Above average typing and data entry speed & accuracy
  • Flexibility and ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong empathy and patience in dealing with customer concerns
  • Able to work overtime when required
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in the promotional products industry
