Our client, a New Jersey based Accounting firm, has an immediate need for an experienced Accountant, to join their winning team in Cresskill.Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.Our candidate of choice will bring Public Accounting experience along w a CPA.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Income tax review and preparation, tax planning for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and estates & trustsAll aspects of client responsibility and contact including write-up, tax projections, planning and business consultingSummarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing financial statementsConducts follow-up research to solve problems encountered or reported during normal compilation/compliance activitiesManage compliance with different requirements not limited to U.S. GAAP and TAX BASIS accounting including OCBOAAnalyzing financial data and creating reports for management, stockholders, and external parties, such as lenders or vendorsKEY REQUIREMENTS:Five (4) to ten (10+) years related experience in public accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredAdept at Microsoft Suite with expertise in ExcelWorking knowledge and proficiency with Thomson Reuters CS Professional Suite Accounting Software / Ultra TaxStrong leadership, communication, and motivational skillsMultitasker with ability to work independently; be self-motivated, flexible and creativeAttention to detail and capability to analyze large amounts of data are a must.Please apply today to be immediately considered for the role!Elgen Staffing is the fastest growing staffing agency in New Jersey.
