Job Summary

We are seeking a self-motivated Accountant to join our finance department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing monthly financial statements, performing month-end close duties including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and projects as necessary.

Responsibilities

* Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries monthly

* Analyze internal general ledger accounts

* Perform month-end-close activities

* Process and balance monthly some intercompany transactions and confirm with intercompany partners

* Perform some month end account reconciliations

* Maintain month end close checklists

* Support Internal and External audit as needed

Basic Qualifications

* Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance, Master's Degree, a plus

* Experience with JD Edwards, preferred

* Experience with month-end-close a plus, journal entries and analysis

* Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting processes

* Intermediate Excel and any ERP software skills

Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

Fully site based

Key Competencies

* 1-5 Years Accounting experience

* Ability to prioritize and multi-task

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
