Accountant, Japanese Bilingual _ 56458 Job Num: 56458AccountingJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced accountant with a strong background in financial management.This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records, performing in-depth cost analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making for short-term and long-term financial planning. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to optimizing financial processes.Key Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare and manage cash flow statements to ensure the company's financial stability.

Analysis & Forecasting:

• Analyze past expense records and perform variance analysis between budgeted and actual figures.
• Provide actionable insights to the CSO and Director of Finance to aid in forecasting future financial performance.

Cost Analysis:

• Track and analyze costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, at all stages of production.
• Monitor production processes from raw materials to finished goods to control costs effectively.

Inventory Management:

• Oversee inventory management and control, including cycle or physical counting in collaboration with the VP of Operations or Plant Manager.

Management Accounting:

• Conduct deep expense analysis to support short-term (2 months) and long-term (1 year) cash flow forecasting.
• Assist in developing management accounting reports and strategies.

Team Collaboration & Communication:

• Work closely with various departments, including Operations, Finance, and senior management, to align financial strategies with business goals.
• Present financial findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus).
• Language: Proficient Japanese skills in speaking, reading, and writing.
• Experience: 5-10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with a preference for candidates from the manufacturing industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong bookkeeping skills and experience with cash flow and Capex management.
• Analytical Skills:
  • Expertise in cost analysis, forecasting, and management accounting.
  • Ability to provide actionable insights based on data-driven analysis.
• Inventory Sensitivity: High awareness of inventory management principles and practices.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.
