Accountant- Manufacturing/Inventory Location: BuffordPay: 28/hrSchedule: Hybrid 8-5Our Client is a global specialty medical device company and is seeking a temporary Accountant for their Buford, Georgia office. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to their business operations while working closely with our Corporate Treasury and Internal Control Manager.The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience and possess excellent attention to detail. This role involves managing crucial accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and providing comprehensive support to the Controller.What you get to do:
- Manage the reconciliation of daily shipments, including freight charge entries, discrepancy rectification, journal entry recording, and invoice processing.
- Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for the Controller's review.
- Contribute to month-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial processes.
- Identify and resolve system errors, with a focus on the Thor Monitor, to ensure correct order information
What you need to succeed:
- 2-3 Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field preferred.
- X3 sage, ERP Systems like Oracle
- Strong Excel Skills
