We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional at our North American headquarters as an Accountant I. Job Description: This position reports to the Sr. Financial Manager. Key responsibilities include:

  • Transition duties into all areas of Finance will perform Accounts Receivable , Accounts Payable and Treasury functions.
  • Daily Tasks and reports
  • Weekly Tasks and reports
  • Month End Tasks -Analysis review and journal entries
  • Performs Account Reconciliations.
  • Ad hoc projects and reports requested by various levels of management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with concentration in Finance.
  • One to Five years' experience, preferably in the manufacturing, retail or distribution industries.
  • Proven proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Very good interpersonal skills including ability and desire to work with all levels of management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a global environment with issues including FX and various financial reporting requirements.
  • GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize financial data to financial and non-financial management.
  • Strong organizational skills
