We have an outstanding opportunity for an experienced professional at our North American headquarters as an Accountant I. Job Description: This position reports to the Sr. Financial Manager. Key responsibilities include:
- Transition duties into all areas of Finance will perform Accounts Receivable , Accounts Payable and Treasury functions.
- Daily Tasks and reports
- Weekly Tasks and reports
- Month End Tasks -Analysis review and journal entries
- Performs Account Reconciliations.
- Ad hoc projects and reports requested by various levels of management.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in Finance.
- One to Five years' experience, preferably in the manufacturing, retail or distribution industries.
- Proven proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
- Very good interpersonal skills including ability and desire to work with all levels of management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a global environment with issues including FX and various financial reporting requirements.
- GAAP and IFRS knowledge.
- Ability to interpret and summarize financial data to financial and non-financial management.
- Strong organizational skills
